The Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association applauds the City of San Antonio and Fiesta Commission’s decision to cancel Fiesta 2020. Our primary concern has been our participants and our spectators. In the next few days, we will be working with our partners and the community to help ensure a safe fun-filled event in 2021. Please contact us through our website flambeau.org for further information.

Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association, Inc.
The Fiesta Flambeau Parade presents “Celebrating Literary Classics” as its 2020 theme. The Parade is the largest illuminated parade in the country and for the second year has been recognized as the best Parade in the World among entries in its budget category by the International Festivals and Events Association. The parade was honored this year as the Best Parade in Texas by the Texas Festivals and Events Association.
The Fiesta Flambeau is the highlight and near finale of the 11 days of Fiesta. The University of Texas Longhorn Band leads off the 2.6-mile route. 750,000 spectators-and a television audience of 1.5 million watch spectacularly illuminated floats, lighted marching units that include local, out of town, out of state bands, dance groups, equestrian units, plus international bands and entertainers all contribute to a night that will surely “Light up your Life.”
